Watchmaker Genomics signed a long-term lease for about 100,000 square feet at Flatiron Park in Boulder, a move designed to more than double its manufacturing capacity. The expansion is intended to support scaled production of specialized enzymes, reagents and kits used for DNA and RNA analysis. The facility will operate as the Watchmaker Boulder Manufacturing Center of Excellence, adding room for manufacturing, quality, R&D, logistics and operations. The company expects the site to become operational in the second half of 2027 after completion and qualification, with hiring planned in phases. The expansion broadens Watchmaker’s manufacturing network alongside ongoing operations in Cape Town and supports commercial scale for genomics and molecular diagnostics customers.
