Veeva Systems unveiled an agentic AI system called Study Builder Agent to speed clinical study configuration across EDC and data quality systems. The plugin ingests a protocol and uses CDISC standards—including the CDISC Unified Study Definitions Model (USDM)—to draft configurations, schedule visits, and produce test data in as little as 24 hours, with human oversight built into the workflow. Veeva plans to make the capability available for licensing starting in December.
