Vasomune Therapeutics completed enrollment in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2a study evaluating pegevongitide (AV-001) in patients hospitalized with pneumonia requiring supplemental oxygen. The program is Fast Track-designated for prevention and treatment of moderate-to-severe acute respiratory distress syndrome associated with respiratory infection, and the company said it will shift to data review, quality control, site closeout, and database lock now that enrollment is complete.
