Thermo Fisher announced a collaboration with HealthVerity to expand its real-world data capabilities for biopharmaceutical clinical development and evidence generation. The partnership grants Thermo Fisher’s PPD clinical research business access to HealthVerity’s TaXOnomy claims dataset covering de-identified data from more than 270 million patient records. The agreement also includes access to a marketplace of curated data sources, including electronic medical records and laboratory data, with the aim of improving trial feasibility, recruitment, and site selection. The move extends Thermo Fisher’s real-world evidence and health economics and outcomes research offerings across registry-linked claims analytics.
