Thermo Fisher Scientific’s PPD clinical research business partnered with Datavant to enable privacy‑preserving tokenization and linkage of real‑world data across more than 350 partners and 80,000 U.S. hospitals and clinics. The collaboration aims to enrich randomized trials, support recruitment, and accelerate evidence generation by connecting de‑identified research datasets with consented electronic health records. Karen Kaucic, Thermo Fisher’s president of patient and advisory services, said the integration will deliver enhanced linked patient data and analytics for biopharma customers.
