Teva said its experimental antibody TEV ‘408 met topline results in a mid-stage gluten challenge study for celiac disease. The company reported that a single injection significantly reduced intestinal damage in participants who then ate gluten daily. Teva stated the eight-week placebo-controlled trial showed statistically significant and clinically meaningful protection from gluten-induced intestinal injury. Teva also noted pipeline momentum in related autoimmune indications, including vitiligo data, with additional Phase 2a analyses underway.
