Jazz Pharmaceuticals and AbCellera announced a preclinical research collaboration to discover next-generation T-cell engaging multispecific antibodies for gastrointestinal cancers and other solid tumors. Under the deal, AbCellera receives $56 million in upfront payments with additional option fees and milestones that can reach up to $792 million per program. The agreement leverages AbCellera’s TCE discovery and early development capabilities, including CD3-binding antibody panels, costimulatory targeting arms, and functional assays intended to optimize candidate profiles. The transaction reinforces continued investment in TCE modalities—particularly for solid tumors—while keeping Jazz’s oncology pipeline expansion closely tied to partner-generated candidates.
