Finnish protein sensing startup Proteins.1 raised €4.7 million in pre-seed funding to develop enzyme-free, single-molecule protein amplification for diagnostics. The round was led by Lifeline Ventures and Cloudberry Ventures, with in-kind support from VTT and Business Finland, and supports work toward enzyme-free “PCR-like” cyclic signal amplification designed for ultra-low abundance biomarkers and high multiplexing.
