Subcutaneous tarlatamab generated early safety and activity signals in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer, with the phase 1b DeLLphi-308 study suggesting a potentially easier administration route than earlier intravenous formats. The update adds to the growing clinical read-through for DLL3-targeted T-cell redirectors, which have been moving through late-stage development in SCLC. In parallel, new randomized phase 2 DeLLphi-309 results indicated that longer gaps between tarlatamab doses may retain efficacy while improving dosing flexibility for patients who have completed prior platinum-based chemotherapy. Together, the two readouts strengthen the clinical narrative around optimizing both tolerability and scheduling as the program progresses.
