Two China-based Phase 3 trials for B7-H3-directed antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) in relapsed small-cell lung cancer met overall survival endpoints, adding momentum to the B7-H3 ADC pipeline class. In the Taishan-302 study of tambotatug pelitecan (tam-peli; YL-201), and the Artemis-008 study of risvutatug rezetecan (ris-rez), both assets produced an overall survival hazard ratio of 0.46 versus topotecan, translating to a 54% reduction in the risk of death. The results strengthen the case for further global development and increase scrutiny on how Chinese trial populations and conduct translate to broader international labeling strategies.
