10x Genomics launched Sentira Single Cell, a cloud-based agentic analysis tool built on Anthropic’s Claude models and designed to run on Chromium data. The company positioned the product as a solution to the “last mile” problem in single-cell workflows—turning experiments into analysis without requiring researchers to build and manage custom code. 10x said the tool can execute multiple analyses in parallel on 10x Cloud without users configuring or managing infrastructure, and it aims to reduce analysis setup time from weeks to hours. The announcement extends Sentira, which also includes Sentira spatial launched earlier, and emphasizes that the software is not locked to a single model. By embedding large-model-driven assistance directly into the single-cell analysis layer, the launch targets productivity bottlenecks and broadens who can interrogate single-cell datasets.
