NewLimit secured a $435 million Series C financing at a $3B+ valuation ahead of its first clinical trial, signaling continued investor appetite for advanced rejuvenation approaches with near-term clinical milestones. The longevity startup plans to initiate a phase 1 liver medicine program next year. Founders Fund led the round, with participation from Thrive Capital, Lilly Ventures and others. The company said it has moved faster than expected to a clinic-ready candidate after its screening platform identified transcription factor combinations that reprogram liver cells toward a more youthful state. NewLimit’s disclosed approach uses mRNA delivered via lipid nanoparticles to reset age-linked gene programs in the liver. The funding gives it room to progress through early human testing and subsequent dose-ranging studies. Separately, Ilant Health raised $15 million to expand a personalized obesity treatment model via virtual care, reflecting how funding is targeting both therapeutics and care delivery to tackle obesity-related risk.
