Sanofi said it is not planning a “major” overhaul as it looks toward the Dupixent patent cliff while continuing to pursue growth via R&D and business development. During earnings updates, CEO Belén Garijo emphasized the company’s intention to ensure growth beyond Dupixent and to fund transactions using robust cash flow. Sanofi CFO François Roger added that low leverage and a strong balance sheet will allow it to access external financing as needed. The company described a preference for later-stage and commercial opportunities to derisk scientifically and clinically, while leveraging its commercial capabilities. On the quarter, Dupixent sales increased 34.8% to nearly €5.7 billion, while overall net sales rose to €14.4 billion. Executives pointed to continued launches driven by programs including Altuviiio as the scaling engine beyond the Dupixent peak.
