Roche signed an exclusive global licensing agreement for Simcere Zaiming’s preclinical trispecific T-cell engager SIM-0660, in a deal valued at up to $1.53 billion. Roche will pay $75 million upfront, with additional development, regulatory and commercial milestones and royalties tied to future net sales. SIM-0660 is designed to engage CD79a and CD19 on B cells while recruiting CD3 to drive T-cell mediated killing—aiming to improve potency while managing cytokine-release risks that have challenged earlier TCE classes.
