Roche acquired exclusive global rights to Simcere Zaiming’s SIM-0600, a preclinical CD79a/CD19/CD3-targeting trispecific T-cell engager. The licensing agreement has a potential value of up to $1.53 billion, including a $75 million upfront fee and further development, regulatory and commercial milestones. Roche’s move targets B-cell-mediated diseases, including lymphoma and autoimmune conditions, while relying on Simcere’s TCE platform to drive T-cell mediated killing of pathogenic B cells.
