ADARx Pharmaceuticals priced its $446.3 million Nasdaq IPO, continuing a wave of biotech public market momentum led by RNA-targeted companies. The RNA interference specialist sold more than 26 million shares at $17, and is set to begin trading under ticker “ADRX” after securing an additional private investment from development partner AbbVie. In parallel, the company disclosed that it raised about $89 million through the AbbVie stock purchase, providing additional runway for pipeline execution. ADARx’s late-stage lead program, onvuzosiran, is in late-stage testing for hereditary angioedema, where the company targets reductions in plasma kallikrein. For the sector, the deal highlights that investors remain willing to fund delivery-and-potency-constrained RNA modalities—especially when there is a credible clinical path, milestone potential, and an established strategic partner.
