NeoGenomics said its RaDar ST molecular residual disease assay gained expanded coverage under the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ MolDX program, adding immunotherapy response monitoring for patients with late-stage solid tumors. The assay was previously covered for HPV-negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and a subset of HR+/HER2- breast cancer. RaDar ST is tumor-informed and uses whole-exome sequencing to analyze up to 48 patient-specific ctDNA variants. NeoGenomics positions the new MolDX decision as a milestone for launching RaDar ST more broadly in an indication set where monitoring responsiveness and disease dynamics is central to clinical decision-making. The company also said two additional RaDar ST submissions remain pending with MolDX, signaling more reimbursement steps ahead as it scales access for clinical sites and payers.
