Nurse-led eHealth support showed positive signals for patient burden and acute graft-versus-host disease outcomes in allogeneic stem cell transplant implementation trials. In analysis of two European randomized controlled implementation studies, an eHealth-facilitated nurse-led integrated care model reduced patient-reported treatment burden and was associated with a lower cumulative incidence of grades II–IV acute GvHD. The reports did not show significant differences in health-related quality of life and chronic GvHD between groups, indicating the main observable benefit may be operational and acute symptom burden rather than long-term disease modification. For transplant programs, the result supports continued investment in workflow-integrated remote care, while underscoring the need for scalability assessments and outcome tracking beyond acute events.
