Two new diagnostic-focused readouts point to expanding pathways for biomarker-guided care. In one study, pooled stool DNA screening kit return behavior in a national cohort was associated with a 55% lower colorectal cancer rate, while other work emphasizes imaging and blood-based approaches to reduce unnecessary invasive procedures. Separately, a blood-based strategy in cancer immunotherapy used circulating tumor DNA and immune-cell profiling to identify neoantigens and reactive T cells with accuracy that can match or exceed tumor biopsy approaches—supporting a shift toward less invasive companion diagnostics and response monitoring.
