Dren Bio has closed an oversubscribed $350 million private financing to advance dibotatug (DR-01), its CD94-targeting antibody, toward regulatory submission and a planned commercial launch. The company is pursuing late-stage development in cytotoxic T-cell lymphoma and large granular lymphocytic leukemia, both rare hematologic cancers with limited treatment options. The round, co-led by Juvia Group and Lightspeed Venture Partners, includes participation from investors such as Mirae Asset Capital Life Science, General Catalyst, OrbiMed, and existing backers including 8VC and BVF Partners. Dren said proceeds will support continued late-stage trials, filings, and commercialization work while expanding its oncology and autoimmune pipeline. Mechanistically, dibotatug is designed to selectively deplete pathogenic cytotoxic cells while preserving broader immune function. Dren also pointed to its Targeted Myeloid Engager and Phagocytosis Platform as an internal engine for additional antibody programs beyond the lead asset.
