Pfizer reported detailed Phase 3 TALAPRO-3 results showing talazoparib (TALZENNA) plus enzalutamide (XTANDI) improved radiographic progression-free survival in HRR gene–altered metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer. The combination reduced the risk of radiographic progression or death by 52% versus placebo plus XTANDI, with estimated three-year rPFS of 77% compared with 56%. Pfizer said the rPFS benefit remained consistent across prespecified subgroups, including BRCA and non-BRCA HRR alterations, and highlighted a median rPFS that was not reached in the talazoparib arm versus 46 months in the placebo arm at over 37 months’ follow-up.
