Genialis and Inventia Life Science moved their pancreatic cancer modeling work from concept to infrastructure by launching a collaboration that links patient biology with 3D PDAC models. The companies said Genialis will use its Supermodel to map patient tumor microenvironment states to RASTRUM-based tissue models for co-culture experimentation. Inventia’s RASTRUM platform creates controllable 3D pancreatic cancer models where tumor and stromal components can be perturbed independently. Genialis plans to characterize the models using transcriptomics data from patient cohorts, including tumors drawn from PanCAN’s SPARK “Know Your Tumor” cohort. Initial findings are slated for presentation at PanCAN’s 2026 Scientific Summit, with the emphasis on improving which therapeutic hypotheses get tested for specific patient-defined disease states.
