Parse Biosciences and Nomic Bio announced they are partnering to generate Cascade, a 100 million-cell foundational dataset designed to map human immune response dynamics at both cellular and protein levels. The multimodal dataset is intended to help pharma partners identify and validate new drug targets by linking single-cell transcriptomics with deep proteomic secretome profiling. Cascade is described as a perturbation dataset spanning multiple timepoints and capturing how immune cells respond to treatment across more than 11,000 proteomic profiles and 150,000 cytokine and drug perturbation conditions. The collaboration will combine 100 million single-cell RNA-seq profiles with secretome measurements of more than 1,000 secreted proteins. The companies said Cascade already has foundational partner commitments from GSK, Pfizer, Sanofi, Graph Therapeutics, and Turbine, reflecting continued demand for large-scale immune atlases built for predictive modeling. Parse will generate the single-cell RNA-seq data in its GigaLab service lab, while Nomic will produce the proteomic secretome data via its Omini 1000 platform, with the combined resource designed to fill an “immune response” measurement gap for building virtual immune-cell models.
