Parse Biosciences (QIAGEN) and Nomic Bio announced Cascade, a foundational, multimodal immune dataset built to capture how human immune cells respond to drug and cytokine perturbations across time. Cascade is described as a 100 million-cell dataset combining single-cell RNA sequencing (100 million profiles) with more than 11,000 proteomic secretome profiles, measured through Nomic’s Omini 1000 platform. The partners said the resource covers responses to more than 150,000 individual and combinatorial cytokine and drug perturbation conditions. The project is intended to close a data bottleneck for AI modeling of immune biology by pairing transcriptomic and proteomic readouts from the same immune responses over time. Data generation will run through Parse’s GigaLab high-throughput service. Parse and Nomic also stated that Cascade has secured foundational partner commitments from GSK, Pfizer, Sanofi, Graph Therapeutics and Turbine, signaling demand from large pharma and biotech for large-scale, multimodal immune measurements.
