Parse Biosciences and Nomic Bio announced a partnership to generate Cascade, a 100 million-cell foundational dataset combining single-cell RNA sequencing with large-scale proteomic secretome profiling. The initiative is designed to map how human immune cells respond to drug and cytokine perturbations across multiple time points. Cascade is described as multimodal and perturbation-based, pairing 100 million single-cell RNA-seq profiles with more than 11,000 proteomic secretome profiles spanning over 150,000 cytokine and combinatorial drug perturbation conditions. The dataset aims to help pharma partners identify and validate drug targets with cellular and protein-level context. Foundational partner commitments include GSK, Pfizer, Sanofi, Graph Therapeutics, and Turbine, signaling broad industry demand for large, curated immune datasets capable of powering biological AI modeling.
