Orum Therapeutics presented its strategy to extend the therapeutic window for GSPT1 degradation using antibody-mediated delivery conjugates (DACs). GSPT1 degradation has been recognized as a promising oncology approach, but its essential role in normal cellular proliferation narrows the margin for safe dosing. Orum’s pipeline includes the clinically evaluated ORM-6151 (BMS-986497) for AML and MDS, while ORM-1153 remains preclinical as the company aims to broaden its reach into additional hematologic malignancies. The DAC approach is designed to selectively deliver degraders to vulnerable cell populations, reducing exposure to normal tissues. The disclosure adds another clinical readout pathway in the expanding GSPT1 degrader ecosystem, where delivery and selectivity are emerging as key differentiators.
