Nouscom raised $135 million in an oversubscribed Series D to support NOUS-209, its off-the-shelf neoantigen-based cancer immunotherapy aimed at intercepting cancer before it advances. The clinical-stage biotech is targeting Lynch syndrome carriers, with the program advancing through a global registration-enabling clinical trial. The company highlighted Fast Track designation from the FDA for the program’s concept of cancer interception and said long-term phase 1b/2 follow-up data from Lynch syndrome carriers showed continued absence of advanced adenomas and colorectal cancer among evaluable participants at one and two years. Nouscom expects to present additional updates at ESMO. The funding reinforces investor appetite for immunoprevention models built around defined genetic risk populations rather than treating after advanced disease develops.
