Grail partnered with Epic to integrate its Galleri multi-cancer early detection test into Epic’s electronic health record platforms, allowing clinicians to order the test within standard EHR workflows. Grail said results will be delivered inside the existing patient portal and EHR environment. The collaboration targets approximately 450 health systems already using Epic, reducing operational barriers to ordering and incorporating the blood-based screening tool at the point of care. Grail expects implementation planning to begin in Q1 2026, with broad ordering and result return expected by end-2026. Grail previously linked ordering into Athenahealth’s systems and said Quest Diagnostics also added Galleri to its blood testing sites. This new EHR-native integration extends those distribution moves, emphasizing real-world adoption. The strategy aims to support earlier detection before symptoms appear, when outcomes may be better, and to streamline provider workflows for large-scale screening efforts.
