Coherus Oncology reported interim clinical data for tagmokitug, its investigational cytolytic CCR8 antibody, in combination with toripalimab with or without chemotherapy in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) within its TREGCHECK program. In evaluable front-line ESCC patients, the company said tagmokitug plus toripalimab and chemotherapy achieved a confirmed overall response rate (cORR) of 75% regardless of PD-L1 status, and 100% in PD-L1-positive patients as of Oct. 14, 2026. Following the data cutoff, Coherus confirmed additional partial responses, raising cORR to 89% in the evaluable dataset. Safety was described as acceptable and manageable with no new safety signals reported to date. The company plans to advance enrollment expansion in both first- and second-line ESCC cohorts as the dataset matures.
