MediLink reported Phase 3 interim results for tambotatug pelitecan (Tam-Peli), a B7-H3-targeted antibody-drug conjugate, in Chinese patients with relapsed small-cell lung cancer. In the TAISHAN-302 trial versus topotecan, the program met its primary endpoint of overall survival, with an FDA filing accepted for review by China’s NMPA Center of Drug Evaluation. Roche said Tam-Peli reduced the risk of death by 54%, with median overall survival of 13.3 months vs 9.4 months for topotecan. The company also reported progression-free survival gains and a higher objective response rate, positioning the ADC as a potential next-line option in a setting with limited post-platinum therapies. Roche has development and commercialization plans outside mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau, with additional global trials expected to initiate quickly, including label-extension efforts across tumor types.
