The FDA accelerated fast-track and priority-review pathways for multiple oncology programs in July, expanding regulatory attention across colorectal, anal, prostate, head and neck, and lymphoma settings. SOTIO Biotech’s CDH17-targeting ADC SOT109 earned fast track for advanced colorectal cancer. Oncolytics Biotech’s pelareorep also received fast track for anal cancer in combination with atezolizumab after response data from the GOBLET study. Separately, Pfizer’s supplemental application for talazoparib plus enzalutamide secured priority review in HRR-altered metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer following TALAPRO-3 results showing reduced risk of radiographic progression or death.
