10x Genomics and Cleveland Clinic began a multiyear collaboration to identify spatial biomarkers predicting response to antibody-drug conjugates in advanced bladder cancer. The work will analyze tumor microenvironment composition, immune infiltration, and expression of therapeutic targets using 10x Xenium spatial gene expression and Flex Apex probes, with plans to add the Atera in situ platform when available later in 2026. 10x said any biomarkers uncovered will be candidates for lab-developed assays to help stratify patients by response and guide clinical development decisions for ADCs and ADC-plus-immune checkpoint inhibitor combinations.
