Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals reported positive late-stage results for plozasiran (Redemplo) in severe hypertriglyceridemia, aiming to expand beyond its rare-disease label. In two phase III trials, the under-the-skin therapy cut median triglyceride levels by 79% and 81% at one year versus about 27% on placebo, with a pooled analysis showing a 78% reduction in acute pancreatitis events versus control.
