Tango Therapeutics reported updated Phase 1/2 results for vopimetostat, its PRMT5 inhibitor, combined with Revolution Medicines’ RAS(ON) inhibitor daraxonrasib in metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma with MTAP deletion and RAS mutations. The company highlighted an 82% objective response rate in efficacy-evaluable patients. In the updated dataset (cutoff Aug. 20, 2026), Tango said the median progression-free survival was not reached and that the 9-month PFS rate was 88% among 22 efficacy-evaluable patients. The combination was described as generally well-tolerated in the treated PDAC and NSCLC population. Tango also outlined development strategy, including plans to initiate a Phase 3 registration study in front-line patients with MTAP-deleted pancreatic cancer in the first half of 2027. Data are being presented at ESMO 2026 in Madrid. The readout adds to the push for chemotherapy-free combinations in MTAP-deleted PDAC and supports further testing of PRMT5–RAS(ON) partnering strategies in genetically defined subgroups.
