NeoGenomics said its RaDar ST molecular residual disease (MRD) assay received expanded coverage from CMS’s MolDX program for immunotherapy response monitoring in late-stage solid tumors. The test previously had coverage for HPV-negative head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and certain breast cancer settings. RaDar ST is a tumor-informed MRD assay using whole-exome sequencing to track up to 48 patient-specific circulating tumor DNA variants. NeoGenomics positioned the coverage as a launch milestone to broaden payer access as immunotherapy monitoring becomes more common. The company also reported additional RaDar ST submissions pending with MolDX.
