The Ohio Life Sciences Association and JobsOhio selected New Albany International Business Park as the site for a new Ohio Life Science Training Center, part of a statewide $30 million workforce initiative to support biomanufacturing growth. The City of New Albany committed $5 million over five years toward the center. The facility will offer cGMP‑aligned training, simulated clean rooms, lab skills and contextualized manufacturing foundations developed with industry partners to prepare entry‑level operators for day‑one readiness in biopharma manufacturing. Organizers said the investment aims to capture domestic biomanufacturing projects and expand the state’s talent pipeline as companies scale U.S. production.
