Novo Nordisk and Amazon Web Services struck an AI drug discovery pact that includes AWS as Novo’s preferred cloud and AI partner and the creation of a London innovation hub for joint collaboration. The deal is designed to accelerate discovery and deploy “responsible AI” solutions, with Novo also gaining access to Amazon Bio Discovery and Bedrock services for building AI applications. Novo said the partnership already reduced clinical documentation time and increased productivity for about 25,000 employees, and it plans to scale findings across therapeutic areas using managed agent infrastructure such as Bedrock AgentCore.
