The NIH announced that its All of Us research program has reached 1 million participants, meeting its goal of creating a diverse, population‑representative dataset of genomic and health data. The milestone delivers a large resource for precision‑medicine research and population genetics. All of Us includes electronic health records, surveys and genomic data intended to improve disease risk models and address health disparities. Researchers will gain access to a broader, more diverse cohort for discovery and validation of biomarkers, therapeutic targets and population‑specific risk estimates.
