Illumina raised its 2026 revenue and earnings guidance after reporting Q2 results that beat consensus and signaled accelerating momentum through the first half of 2026. The sequencing and multiomics platform company now expects 2026 revenue of $4.60 billion–$4.64 billion and adjusted EPS of $5.30–$5.40. Illumina attributed the uplift to clinical customers expanding sequencing-intensive applications as its technology adoption built through H1. Q2 revenue rose to $1.16 billion, up 10% year over year, and exceeded the $1.13 billion consensus estimate. Net income for Q2 was $207 million, and the company also flagged organic growth trends, projecting more than 5% organic revenue growth for 2026 versus its prior 2%–4% range. Illumina ended the quarter with $1.04 billion in cash and cash equivalents plus additional short-term investments.
