A dynamic total-body PET/CT study using [68Ga]Ga-HER2 Affibody in HER2-positive breast cancer measured biodistribution and identified 45 minutes post-injection as the earliest feasible imaging time. The work reports an effective dose of about 2.90E−02 mSv/MBq and focuses on timing optimization for tracer-based imaging. For imaging and trial workflows, earlier acquisition can reduce patient time in scanners and potentially improve operational throughput. It also refines practical protocol parameters that affect sensitivity, lesion detectability, and comparability across sites. This update supports ongoing efforts to tailor radiotracer imaging schedules using total-body scanner capabilities rather than relying on legacy timing assumptions.
