Network Bio launched with $50 million in financing and a collaboration valued at $30 million with Nvidia to develop cell-free RNA (cfRNA) foundation models. The startup says it is assembling population-scale multimodal datasets using partnerships with academic biobanks, including paired tissue and blood samples linked to longitudinal clinical outcomes. Under the collaboration, the companies plan to build a population-scale cfRNA model to serve as a base for supervised models in oncology and non-oncology indications. Network Bio will use Nvidia software and open-source model-building tooling, and it will also work on bioinformatics methods to convert biobank access into model-ready data. Network Bio said it has already signed at least one co-development and licensing agreement worth more than $30 million with a Fortune 100 healthcare company, positioning the platform as both an AI infrastructure layer and a disease-specific model generator.
