Biogen won its first global approval in China for felzartamab, a monoclonal antibody for multiple myeloma. The Chinese regulator cleared the therapy for second-line use, to be used alongside lenalidomide and dexamethasone. The approval expands felzartamab’s geographic footprint and adds a new option in a crowded multiple myeloma treatment landscape, where sequencing with standard-of-care combinations often determines clinical adoption. For Biogen, the move also signals progress in translating its antibody portfolio into market access momentum beyond the US and Europe.
