Bristol Myers Squibb unveiled Phase 3 results for mezigdomide plus carfilzomib and dexamethasone (MeziKd) in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma under its SUCCESSOR-2 program. The mezigdomide regimen cut the risk of progression or death by 52% versus carfilzomib/dexamethasone alone, with median progression-free survival rising to 18 months versus 8.3 months for the comparator. The company is also framing mezigdomide as one of multiple next-generation blood cancer assets in its broader CELMoDs strategy, amid competition from bispecific antibodies and cell therapies in early lines.
