Myriad Genetics expanded access to its Precise MRD ctDNA assay across breast, colorectal, and renal cancers, extending use from treatment through surveillance. The ultrasensitive whole-genome sequencing-based test tracks up to 1,000 variants in circulating tumor DNA to provide a dynamic view of residual disease risk. Myriad linked the availability expansion to results published in Future Oncology from the prospective, multi-center MONITOR-Breast study. MONITOR-Breast reported that ultrasensitive ctDNA monitoring during neoadjuvant therapy in breast cancer provided real-time insight into treatment response and helped identify patients at increased risk for residual disease after surgery. The company’s announcement also comes alongside new offerings from Genialis, including BioBridge to translate biomarker signals from Chinese clinical trial populations for Western regulatory and development use, and Streck’s release of MDx-Chex for respiratory panel quality control testing—together underscoring continued investment in molecular tools and workflow standardization.
