SeekGene said it is expanding internationally with multi-omics offerings built on its SeekOne Digital Droplet microfluidics platform, targeting Europe as a first priority and planning later expansion to North America. The Beijing-based company said its microfluidic system can partition, capture, and label individual cells and is compatible with multiple sample formats including fresh frozen tissue, FFPE, PBMCs, and protoplasts. SeekGene described its roadmap for assays that integrate transcriptomic and epigenetic profiling at the single-cell level, including its Single-Cell DNA Methylation + RNA Multi-Omics assay launched earlier. The company pitched internationalization as a move toward higher global standards for usability and reproducibility. For biotech operators using single-cell workflows, the expansion matters because platform interoperability, pricing, and reliability increasingly drive procurement decisions and multiomics adoption beyond major incumbents.
