The Medical University of Vienna’s Organizational Unit Core Facilities received €2.5 million from the Austrian Research Promotion Agency to advance multiomics-driven biomarker discovery and validation. Funds will facilitate acquisition of high-throughput cellular analysis, mass spectrometry, and volumetric imaging technologies. The Multiomics for Optimizing Biomarker Signatures in High-Throughput (Moonshot) project aims to accelerate identification of disease-relevant biomarkers and support translation to clinical applications, enhancing precision medicine capabilities.
