Liquidia’s patent settlement with United Therapeutics resolved six lawsuits tied to treprostinil inhalation, with Liquidia agreeing to pay $380.7 million and to remove pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) from the label of Yutrepia. The deal lets Liquidia keep Yutrepia for pulmonary arterial hypertension and continue other treprostinil programs, including Raynaud’s phenomenon linked to systemic sclerosis.
