Chinese phase III data strengthen the case for B7-H3 antibody-drug conjugates in relapsed small-cell lung cancer, with two programs from MediLink showing overall survival benefits versus topotecan. In Taishan-302, tambotatug pelitecan (tam-peli; YL-201) reduced the risk of death and improved secondary endpoints. In a parallel study, risvutatug rezetecan (ris-rez) also hit overall survival as a primary endpoint. Together, the two trials reported concordant hazard ratios, underscoring the signal for a target space where treatment options are limited after first-line therapy. The updates arrive as Roche prepares to commercialize outside mainland China and as global investigators weigh how China-generated efficacy translates to broader populations and trial designs.
