IRB Barcelona consolidated core facilities to unveil Spain’s first end-to-end spatial omics workflow, offering integrated sample processing, spatial transcriptomics, imaging, and data analysis services for academic and industry users. The platform aims to accelerate translational research by providing standardized pipelines that move projects from tissue to spatially resolved molecular readouts. By centralizing technical expertise and infrastructure, IRB Barcelona intends to support clinical partners and biotech collaborators in biomarker discovery and validation. The platform lowers the barrier for institutions that lack in-house spatial-omics capabilities and could catalyze regional partnerships and translational programs.
