ADARx Pharmaceuticals priced an upsized $446.3 million IPO as it enters Nasdaq trading under ADRX, adding momentum to the RNA therapeutics fundraising cycle. The company sold 26.25 million shares at $17 apiece and also secured an additional investment from AbbVie through a private stock sale. ADARx’s lead program, onvuzosiran, is in Phase 3 testing for hereditary angioedema, and the company anticipates early Phase 3 data by the end of 2027. Its pipeline also includes agazisiran for complement-mediated kidney diseases and other indications beyond the liver, aiming to expand RNAi reach past the historic liver-only footprint. The offering proceeds are earmarked for advancing its siRNA clinical assets, with AbbVie’s relationship supporting broader program development across immunology and other chronic targets.
